The sale was never the finish line.
For over 30 years, Harish Puri & Co. built its reputation doing the work that most vendors walk away from: showing up for AMC visits, tracking down replacement parts, maintaining badminton courts through monsoon season, and being accountable when things go wrong.
That ground-level experience is what sportsOS is built on. Not venture capital, not startup theatre, but the knowledge of what actually breaks, what gets ignored, and what enterprise campuses genuinely need to keep sport running reliably.
When we decided to build a platform, we didn't start with software. We started with the operational model that had already proven itself across 60+ enterprise campuses, and wrapped a system around it.
Harish Puri & Co. founded (1992)
Started as a sports equipment supplier in Bengaluru, building early relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
Enterprise campus expansion
As Bengaluru's tech park boom began, the business expanded into corporate campus installations, badminton courts, TT rooms, gyms, and indoor recreation zones.
AMC and managed maintenance
Added structured Annual Maintenance Contracts as enterprise clients demanded ongoing accountability, not just one-time supply. This is when the operating model took shape.
Wellness, tournaments and gifting
Expanded into employee engagement: yoga and Zumba programs, corporate tournament operations, and bulk sports gifting for enterprise HR teams.
sportsOS platform launched
All five service verticals unified into a single enterprise operating layer, with digital tooling, SLA tracking, and structured onboarding for new campuses.
